Sparkling Cocktails

These sparkling refreshers are easy to make and festive when served in speciality glassware. Like our French Kiss shown here. Chill a narrow, tube glass. Drop in a sugar cube, coat with a splash of Chambord, fill glass with Domaine Ste. Michelle  and add a slice of lemon for garnish.  Enjoy!

Tip: Consider two parts Sparkling Wine to one part or less juice to keep the stream of bubbles lively in the finished drink.

Here are some other ideas:

For a  Sparkling Cosmo use Domaine Ste. Michelle Cuvée Brut and cranberry juice in a sugar-rimmed martini glass.

A martini glass is also the perfect shape for a Brutini.   Again start with Domaine Ste. Michelle Cuvée Brut, add a splash of Melon Liqueur and a squeeze of fresh orange.  Garnish with a slice of fresh strawberry.

One of the more simple pleasures of the winter season is a Holiday Poinsettia. Simply combine three ounces of Domaine Ste. Michelle Blanc de Noirs, two ounces of cranberry  or cran-raspberry juice and 1/2 ounce Triple Sec in a flute.

Orange lovers can try the Tingle Twist.  Fill flutes with Domaine Ste. Michelle Cuvée Brut, add a splash of Grand Marnier & orange slices.

For the colorful Strawberry Kir Royale, mix two cups halved strawberries and one tablespoon of sugar in a medium bowl. Let stand 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Divide between four champagne glasses. Pour one teaspoon Crème de Cassis into each glass, and top off with Domaine Ste. Michelle Blanc de Blancs.

Cocktail Recipes for a Group

If you're having a larger party, try the Sparkle Punch. Combine ½ cup pineapple juice, ½ cup lemon juice, 1/3 cup Triple Sec, one cup brandy and 1/3 cup Grenadine and mix well.  Then add one 750 ml bottle of white wine and two 750 ml bottles of your favorite Domaine Ste. Michelle Sparkling Wine. This recipe makes approximately 25 -4 oz servings.

For something different, serve our Sangria Especial. Combine one 750 ml bottle of your favorite Domaine Ste. Michelle Sparkling Wine with four ounces of cognac, four ounces of gin, 2.5 ounces of lemon juice, three ounces of orange juice, one 750 ml bottle of red wine and four cups of sugar. Chill in the refrigerator overnight. Serve in a punch bowl with ice, and garnish with orange and lemon slices (and other fruit if desired). This recipe makes approximately 16 -4 oz servings.
